• Qual é o nome do teu animal?/ What is your pet’s name?

Ela chama-se Pitucha, não é o melhor nome mas quando tinha 8 anos foi o melhor que me saiu ahahah.

Her name is Pitucha. It’s not the best of names but when I was 8 it was the best that ocurred me, ahahah.

 

• Que tipo de animal é e qual é a sua raça?/ What kind of animal is it and what’s his/her breed?

É uma cadela e é uma mistura de raças, não sei dizer quais ao certo.

It’s a lady dog and she’s a mixture of different breeds, I’m not sure which ones.

• Que idade tem o animal?/ How old is the animal?

Tem 9 anos.

She’s nine years old.

 

• Há quanto tempo tens o animal?/ For how long have you had your pet?

Ela tinha cerca de 2 meses quando a adquirimos.

She was about two months old when we got her.

• Como adquiriste o teu animal?/ How did you acquire your pet?

Foi-me oferecida por uma veterinária amiga da minha mãe.

She was given to me by one of my mother’s friends who is a veterinarian.

 

• O que é que o teu animal mais gosta de comer?/ What is it your pet likes to eat the most?

Acho que seria mais fácil dizer o que é que ela não gosta visto que ele come tudo ahaha (isto inclui insetos). Mas eu diria que o que ela mais gosta são iogurtes e gelados.

It was easier to say what she does not like, since she eats anything ahahah (this includes bugs). But I’d say what she likes the most are yogurts and ice cream.

• O que é que ele faz que é muito engraçado ou fofo?/ What does your pet do that is funny or cute?

Ser engraçada é definitivamente o forte desta cadela ahahah. A sua posição preferida para dormir é de barriga para cima, o que ás vezes a faz ressonar (bem alto). Quando chegamos a casa ela vai sempre sentar-se numa cadeira ou no sofá e faz esta posição tipo suricata para lhe fazermos festas na barriga. Ela A-D-O-R-A ir à praia, é impressionante! Sempre que a levamos lá ela corre e corre pela areia, escava buracos e às até põe a cabeça lá dentro ahahah. É hilariante!

Being funny is most definitely this dog’s strong point. Her favorite posture for sleeping is lying with her belly up, which sometimes makes her snore (really loud). When we get home she always goes and sits on a chair or on the sofa and does this meerkat-like posture so that we pet her belly. She L-O-V-E-S going to the beach, it’s quite impressive! Each and every time we take her there, she runs and runs throughout the sand, digs holes and even gets her head inside them sometimes ahahah. It’s hilarious!

 

• Como é a tua relação com o teu animal?/ How is your relationship with your pet?

É uma relação de amor-ódio, tanto podemos andar super meigas uma com a outra como podemos andar sempre à guerra.

It’s kind of a love and hate relation, just as often as we are sweet and cozy with each other, we can also be pulling our punches.

• Qual a pior coisa que o teu animal “destruiu”?/ What is the most precious object your pet has “destroyed”?

Quando era pequena ela tinha um hábito terrível de roer móveis. Acho que o pior foi mesmo uma cadeira de madeira.

When she was little she had the most annoying habit of biting the furniture. I think the worst really was a wooden chair.

 

• Quais os apelidos que chamas ao teu animal?/ What are the nicknames you gave your pet?

Normalmente chamo-lhe Pi.

I usually call her Pi.
